Individual Therapy

Individual therapy provides a structured, confidential space to evaluate and address the psychological patterns, symptoms, and stressors that are impacting your functioning and overall well-being.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based treatment, integrating Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Treatment is tailored to the individual, with a focus on accurate assessment, targeted intervention, and measurable progress.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, persistent stress, and maladaptive behavioral or relational patterns. Therapy may also address more complex or long-standing concerns, including personality-related patterns and severe mental health conditions.

The process is collaborative but clinically directed—focused on identifying underlying mechanisms, building practical skills, and creating sustainable change over time.

If you’re looking for a focused, professional approach to therapy with clear direction and structure, individual therapy can provide a path forward.

Office Visits & Location

I offer in-person sessions for those who prefer a face-to-face experience in a calm, private setting.

My office is located in Mount Vernon, Illinois, and is designed to provide a comfortable, grounded space where you can feel at ease from the moment you arrive.

For many, meeting in person allows for a more direct sense of connection and focus, creating an environment that supports deeper reflection and meaningful work.

Whether you choose in-office or telehealth sessions, the goal remains the same—providing a consistent, supportive, and effective therapeutic experience.

Teletherapy

Teletherapy is the delivery of psychotherapy services through secure video or phone sessions, allowing clients to engage in treatment from the comfort and privacy of their own environment.

It provides the same evidence-based approaches used in in-person therapy while increasing accessibility, flexibility, and convenience—particularly for those with busy schedules, transportation barriers, or limited local resources.

Many clients find that being in a familiar setting can enhance comfort and openness, supporting meaningful therapeutic work.

Teletherapy maintains confidentiality through secure platforms and offers a practical, effective way to receive consistent care without compromising quality.
